Crane Nordic Group AS acquires T. O. Bull AS

T.O. Bull AS has for many years been the largest mobile crane operator in the Oslo area. The crane and transportation business consists of 190 employees and 160 mobile cranes/crane trucks/trucks. The business will continue with all its contracts, agreements and obligations set in T.O. Bull AS.

The acquisition does not include concrete pumps. This activity is carried on by Tom Ola Bull through the newly established company T.O. Bull Betongpumping AS. Employees in this sector are employed in this company since 1 January 2011.

Nordic Crane Group is Scandinavia’s leading player in mobile cranes and special transport. Nordic Crane Group AS operates from Malmö in the south to Hammerfest in the north and including the acquisition NCG will have a turnover of over NOK 1 billion in 2011 with 700 skilled workers. The company is owned by the families Kynningsrud and Stangeland 50/50 through the companies Kynningsrud Holding AS and TS Eiendom AS. The markets are construction, petroleum / industrial, wind power and transport.

CEO Trond Helge Skretting in Nordic Crane Group AS says that he is pleased with the acquisition of such a well run company like T.O. Bull AS. The acquisition puts Nordic Crane Group AS in a position to implement major lifting and transportation agreements in Scandinavia, in competition with large foreign players.

Tom Ola Bull, owner of T.O. Bull AS, is pleased that the crane and transport operations are acquired by Nordic Crane Group and is pleased that the company is continued by a solid company in the industry.
